So… my friend, Shell, from Things I Can’t Say, is hosting the cutest link-up this week: Rockin’ the Bump. I was having so much fun looking at everyone’s bump pictures that I decided to post my own.
And then I discovered I don’t have any.
I know there are some hard copies stashed in both (unfinished) baby books, but I’m way too lazy to scan those in right now. This post was kind of spur-of-the-moment, so stopping to scan turns it into well-thought-out. As I was up half the night with a sick kid (the result of one undocumented bump), well-thought-out is not on the books for today.
Anyway, here are the two I have.
This one just kills me. I was pregnant with H – about seven months pregnant here – and we went to visit friends in Colorado. Our first stop after getting off the plane was… The Coors Brewery. The perfect tourist attraction for pregnant women, no? My husband loved it, because he got my two free beer tickets.
See how happy he looks? And see how many chins I have?
In this one, I am pregnant with P and the bump is not too defined. It’s more of a mass that takes up an entire hospital bed. I was in labor here – and for some crazy reason, I was really as chilled out as I looked in the picture. It was the second time around and I was just so ready to meet our baby.
And that’s it. That’s all the bump pictures I have! There are some more pictures of me when I was pregnant, but they aren’t obvious bump shots. I think the reality is that I’m more often behind the camera than in front of it.
And that’s the way I like it.
Head on over to Shell’s to check out more adorable bumps!

I’m usually behind the camera, too. I had to dig around and be sure I could find my own bump pics before I announced the linky! LOL
Laughing at the brewery- that was how my husband was when we went to wineries while I was pregnant(it was part of a work trip for him- though I did have a sip!)
That hubby does look pretty happy! Glad you linked up!
I love that you were hangin’ at the brewery with your bump – ha!
Man you’re hard core to be going to a brewery. I’m impressed.
That is one of the prettiest “in the labor bed soon to deliver” pictures I have ever seen! You look great!
My gosh but you have got to be one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen just about to give birth!!
How were you in labor? You have great hair, are glowing and look like you are ready to sit next to Matt Lauer on the Today Show!
I’m almost always taking the pics, too – you look Great in that last picture! All glowy and stuff!
You are so pretty and glowy!!! Love it. I only had a two digital pics — both in the hospital and captured with our spankin’ new digital camera!
