It’s TMC Featured Blogger day, and the featured blog is, you guessed it, Wonder, Friend (that’s this blog, in case you’re confused). Wahoo! If you’re stopping by from Theta Mom, thank you for taking the time to visit.

I am still surprised by Heather’s generous offer to feature my blog. Me? Really? When she asked, very politely, if I would be interested, I immediately responded with, “Do you even need to ask? You tell me what day and I am there.” Thank you, Heather, for the opportunity!

(If you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about because you accidentally found Wonder, Friend through a Google search for bikini wax or knife wound or poop, I thank you for being here, too, though I do question your choice of search terms. Hop on over to Theta Mom’s site, find out what the big deal is, and then come back to spend hours reading Wonder, Friend. Thanks!)

For the new people here, I invite you to grab a cup of coffee and spend some time looking around. I acknowledge that you may not have time to read every post, what with real life going on all around you. I’m the mom of a preschooler and a toddler, a wife, a writer, a sister, a daughter, a friend and more, so I know what it’s like to be short on time and long on to-do lists.

Since that’s the case, here are a few good places to start your education of all things Wonder, Friend:

:: Today’s post on Theta Mom gives a brief synopsis of Wonder, Friend, including why I write and what I write.

:: Check out the Wonder Who I Am? page for background information and links to some get-to-know-you posts.

:: I have a weekly feature, called Wonder Why Wednesday. You can visit the WWW archives and check out the first WWW post for a bit more information.

:: This post earned me a place in the Nerd Mafia. It also explains how I found myself standing in a room full of pre-K kids who expect me to teach them Sunday School.

:: TV may rot my brain, but I have a thing for it anyway. My love is apparent in this post about what I want to be when I grow up.

:: Every once in a while I participate in a writing exercise with The Red Dress Club.

:: If you wonder why I don’t have a blogroll, this post offers an explanation.

Like most bloggers, I love comments, email, and getting to know you through places like Twitter, Facebook, and Stumble Upon. I would be honored to have you subscribe to my feed, subscribe to my email newsletters, “like” or follow me. You can connect by using those shiny, square buttons near the top, right-hand corner of this page, or you can use the handy links provided earlier in this paragraph.

Thanks again for visiting and looking around today!
