It’s a slippery slope, isn’t it? We think of things that could have gone better, but then what if changing that one thing change the outcome of everything. Butterfly effect… Makes my head hurt. Very glad time travel is not an option!

Well, I don’t know if I was great, but I never went to jail. 😉 And the purse was actually recovered, although the credit card and cash were gone. One of the football players who was at the same bar that night chased down the perp (I watch too much Law and Order) – we stayed friends after that, so there was an upside! That is, after I had to fess up to my parents about where I was when the purse was stolen!
