I have such an opposite experience. I had a son first and a daughter second and I feel like my son is way easier. They are 5 and 19 months currently so who knows what the school age years will bring! I think its more personality than gender sometimes. My daughter is always climbing and all over everything and hates to sit still. My son was always content playing and reading stories and cuddling!

My grandmother was one of five girls; then she had two girls who both had two girls…

So they were three generations of WOMEN who married men but didn’t birth them.

Then my sister had two boys and I had a boy. My grandparents and parents didn’t know WHAT to do with three great/grandsons.

And no girls. Not a one.

Then I had my daughter.
She will always be the princess of four generations.

So she’s easier than the boys. But it’s probably because she’s absolutely spoiled rotten.

They’re different, that’s for sure! They’re louder and rougher. Girls are more emotional and dramatic, but boys just play bigger. It’s kinda crazy!

as the mother of a boy and a girl, i can say with absolute conviction that girls are NOT easier. my theory is that it’s always the youngest who’s the worst. (that’s why everybody stops having babies at the youngest, har har) my daughter is the princess of sparkles, flowers, and strong willed heathens. she’s 3.5 years old, and tests my sanity on a daily basis. no, the screaming does not stop.
