It saddened me when I made the realization, but it’s true.

I’ve become so in-tune to just ignoring advertising that I don’t even realize that the emails are more frequent or more aggressive at this time of year, so that’s a plus for me.

As for Christmas itself, I’m a bit of a scrooge since Ava was born. Sure, I love seeing the holidays through her eyes, but it’s just so much work. And the damn elf, though I’ll spare you the rant. Perhaps I could get more in the spirit if the past few Christmas’s it hadn’t been about 80 degrees?!
