Oh, Cheryl, that’s so funny. I once knew this 13, 14 yr. old girl who called everyone “hon” “sweetie” “babe” and it stuck with me b/c I found it funny. But, of course, if you didn’t know that same girl, I can see how Marlee saying it would make very little sense. And that right there is why all writers need editors. 🙂

Thanks! It was kind of fun to write. The prompt this week was terrifying – I wasn’t sure I could do it. In the end I enjoyed the exercise.
