Letting go is just not as easy as it should be!

Thanks for the love. It's mutual. :-)

A therapist just told me that I have to let go, that my need for controlling everything is not going to work out so well for my children ... but as far as the trees around the house - I don't see it happening.
Love your words xxx

Great post, and timely too, since I feel as though the holidays are definitely a time to reflect and look ahead to the future. And if there is a mom out there that hasn't almost taken a train to Mommy-Is-Getting-Screamy Town during the holidays, I need to take whatever she is on :) Seriously, growing up is hard to do, and I'm not sure if it's harder on the children or the parents.

It is such a process. Gathering patience . . . and letting go. Thankfully, I'm just working on the patience part right now.

We also have two trees. One is my pretty tree in the front room. They help with it too, but it is really just for front windwo show. The second, and my favorite tree, is the one in our family room. It is a total and absolute mess and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Holidays to you and yours. xoxox
