I am always hoping for some minor injury that restricts me to a day of TV viewing. Lucky you! Please, please tell me you have seen the Hoda & Kathie Lee skit on SNL. It really, really, REALLY cracks me up!

When injured, you are 100% allowed to do whatever you darn well please. When I had surgery, I spent an entire day watching HGTV and eating Milanos. Yum.

I was going to say plantar fascitis too. I’ve had it. It sucks, and I’m sorry for your pain! Rolling your heel on a golf ball helps.

SOOOO sorry for your pain (plantar fasciitis? Google it to see. it might not be, but my husband had it and it. hurts. a. lot.)

Your TV observations though? Hilarious and true. I always pause at the kid shows (and have often seen the episode multiple times!) and will watch anything on BRAVO or HGTV. Sad, but true.

Good luck with your triathalon training. I would love to do a triathalon someday. Except for the swimming. And the biking. 😉

Unfortunately, I am queen of this convalescence that you speak of…bad back…ummm what can I say…I spend a lot of my time rotting my mind on twitter…oh and the child is needy…who knew a 2 year old couldn’t take care of making his own lunch…Pft 😉

I was *supposed* to convalesce today. Alas, the sudden onset of my Twin B’s convalsecent needs trumped my own. Not bitter or self-pitying. At all. Nope.

ok. a little.

Hope you’re on the mend soon! If you’d like the company of my misery, I could tell you that I did something awful (and unidentified) to my back in Pilates that has sidelined my own running for the foreseeable future. Dang and blast this aging thing.

I do not convalesce well. I am usually stir crazy by the end of the first day. Hope your heel is doing well.
