LUST is I think one of the easiest ways for Satan to trip up God’s people. It doesn’t take much at all to ensnare and once he’s got you hooked, the battle begins and I believe won’t end until we die. To link all of the sins to lust is downright ambitious. But I see how they all follow suit, in a way. Lust could be considered the root of all of it. If you were Buddhist, you would certainly agree. And I’m closer to Buddhist than anything else, so I can certainly agree. However, there is one caveat, and I’m not sure it falls exactly under Lust itself, which I deem DESIRE here, but what about the desire for change? For improvement? To ability to reach and push and extend ourselves and see what comes of it? Is this, too, a part of lust? Because I think without that, we might fail this amazing life we are given.

IN the end, I have to say, I don’t think lust is a sin. But I’m not all for the “sin” outlook anyway. I think it’s a part of life, like every other emotion or mindset, and can be good or bad, but should always be view in moderation.

Lust,I have never seen as a bad thing. Depressing at times, but never bad. Lust being the root of the other “sins” makes sense.

I think it’s called MOTHERHOOD. We’re all tired. We all wish we had more money, a nanny, a housekeeper, a chef, a grocery shopper, someone to do our laundry…the list goes on. We all wish we could be Mrs. Cleaver and be cheery all the time – and that, while we’re at it, our kids’ problems could be easily wrapped up in 30 minutes.
