“I drank the milk and now my tongue is spicy” could have come STRAIGHT from the mouth of my son when he was four and got into mischief in the plants of our backyard.

It’s been eleven years, so I’m fairly certain we’re in the clear now.

But I won’t soon forget the hives on his fact. As I recall they lasted for days. It never even occurred to me to call poison control. I just sat him him a bath of Epsom salts and wiped his mouth out with a wash cloth.

Duh. I’ve come a long way in my parenting.
Kind of.

Anyway, I’m very glad to read that the boys (including Bark) are all okay. And yeah, this kind of thing happens to even the most well-attended kids so don’t feel bad.

Bark.

I called poison control once when one of the girls needed medicine, and Christian grabbed an old antibiotic from the fridge instead of the correct bottle. I’d blame him, but I can’t answer as to why I had an old bottle of antibiotics in there in the first place.

Also, my poison control lady didn’t sound nearly as convinced when she told me, “She should be fine…”

Sorry your kids went for the poisonous plant and so glad they’re okay! My baby has fallen off the bed before. While I was on the bed. Ahem.

Kid manage to find trouble, even if we are standing right there, staring at them.
